The principals of DES Enterprise entered into the PEO arena (originally known as employee leasing) in 1988. This was spawned by necessity out of industry changes in the General Contracting industry. Due to drastic changes in the Workers Comp industry, a solution had to be found to make this sometimes legal and sometimes contractual obligation reasonably affordable and sustainable. The answer, then and now, is clearly the Professional Employer Organization (PEO).
Soon, we began to recognize patterns and trends in the industry. DES found it prudent to make a drastic change once again. As this new industry began to mature, it was apparent that buying power would be important in keeping cost down. However, cost can never supersede service. Through a painstaking process, we selected a small group of partners to handle our clients. It was important to us that our partners treat our clients as well as we do. It was also important that we remain involved with our clients. In 2008 we moved all of our clients to our partner PEO’s. We effectively outsourced items that our partners could do better, faster, and cheaper with their larger, more well-oiled machine. All the while, we’ve been able to maintain our client service and unique attributes that we bring to the table.
Today, along with our broad spectrum of business services partners, we offer the most comprehensive service oriented business product in the industry. We are not the biggest or the cheapest, but we are always competitive with our prices and firmly believe we are the best. We partner with the best and strive to place our clients with the optimal service options to suit their needs.
